Stand On Guard Prayer Items

Present Prayer Concerns:

1. Prayer protection over all elected leaders (Steven Harper, MPs, etc) God’s supernatural wisdom unhindered coming forth.

2. Prayer for righteousness and integrity at all levels of leadership - political, spiritual and social – blessings and unity to all ministries in Canada! INCREASE!!!
Grant to wisdom to Pro marriage and reveal strategy to turn national laws back to righteousness.

3. Israel: pray for peace, pray those that desire to go have finances released and walk softly with the shoes of peace. (Mar. 13 -24 Canada’s First nation people going to Israel to bless)

4. Praying for Nation Ministries: Bless them indeed, enlarge their territory,
deliver them and their families from evil that they may not cause pain.
a. NHOP, Rob Parker: Increase, wisdom, Heb.4 spiritual rest and provision, increase of MANY Houses of Prayer across Canada.
b. National Aglow – leadership is meeting, new mandate emerging, God’s mandate come forth – pray for clarity, wisdom and favor.
c. Faytene Kryskow: Praise God she is anointed to reverse the wrong women images, bring forth truth and purpose to all youth!
d. GDOP Canada May 27: New Canadian Committee has been established, pray protection, clarity, success and anointing on promotions for GDOP in every city and region in Canada, open ears and hearts, divine favor with churches, unhindered wisdom and finances to flow in, Provincial and city leaders to spearhead GDOP in every area of Canada – supernatural synergy to flow with churches. A Fresh Pentecost Holy Spirit poured out on our Nation and global wide.

5. Upcoming National Conferences: Declare Father’s blessing, Protection to them and their families, enlarged territory, Holy Spirit anointing and synergy, completion of God’s call and mandate, reproduction.
a. ICIN Red Deer Conference: (Mar. 12 -14) Equip Churches and leaders to find and bring clarity to their voices (place) and anointing and freedom to go. Pray FULL house! No hindrance to any speaker, declare God’s will be done!
b. Mission Fests across the Nation: Anointed speakers, successful mission promotions, changed lives!
c. YC Youth happening through out nation: May 4-6 Manitoba, May 25-27 Alberta, “King” is the theme, pray that Jesus is Lord and that God’s Kingly anointing pours on each one of them. They are the King’s son’s and daughter.
d. Women’s Prayer Waves Conference: May 5, increase waves of Holy Spirit and national interest and expansion.

6. Pray that Christians will wake up and become involved in the warfare that is raging in the heavenlies over our nation.
a. Take prayer seriously and continue to STAND in righteousness and truth. Pray that Christians will act and vote with a Biblical mindset in their politics.
b. Increase of love for righteousness and desire for God’s inspired word (truth)using the Sword of the Spirit.

7. Prayer for ‘Judicial Appointments’ procedures that are being formulated by our elected officials. Pray that the decisions on the criteria for appointments will be fair and just.

8. Prayer for protection in regards to euthanasia - forgive Canada for opening doors to death in the name of ‘dignity in dying’. Stand on Guard over the elderly, weak and afflicted. Pray for the cessation of the neutralization of language in public institutions preparing the way for euthanization.

9. Pray for increase and the protection of intercessors in our nation. This battle for Canada’s future will only be won through prayer. The warfare is very heavy, but the outcome is assured…Praise the Lord! Pray that more intercessors would join our prayer call.

10. Pray that the Holy Spirit will sweep across Canada with revival winds of repentance and renewal. Increase knowledge of pitfalls former Revivals and how to sustain the coming one.

11. Pray for Canada following the defeat of the continuance of the Anti-Terrorism Act that occurred on Tuesday in Parliament. Our law enforcement officials may be hamstrung due to this political infighting among our elected officials. Pray for the security and safety of our country. Our future is at risk in these decisions.

Following are the areas of concern for prayer that came to the surface at the Muskoka IV Conference that was held in Toronto on Jan 17-18, 2007:

- the increase of gay/lesbian clubs in schools
- language being neutralized so that euthanasia and ‘Dying With Dignity’ movements may be implemented quietly and easily
- school curriculum being constantly altered to bring in the gay agenda
- polygamy being introduced through the ‘three parent case’
- stem cell research involving more and more ethical violations
- public funding for private abortion clinics…and being made retroactive for 25 years!
- transgender issues involving public use of washrooms
- proportional representation dangers in our political spheres
- the decrease in the size of Christian families due to the decrease in number of children

Our Strategy

Perseverance…we are in the battle for the long haul
Be proactive, not reactive
Networking is crucial to victory. We must strive for unity
Vote in people of principle to public offices. Know where they stand on issues
Get Christians informed on issues and involved in voting
Increase in prayer… and more prayer…and more prayer!

Thank you to every diligent prayer person who stands in the gap to intercede for Canada at this pivotal time in Canadian history. You are changing history in the eternal and historical realms through your prayers and intercessions, even though it seems like little progress is being made. One day each of us will see the difference we have made through prayer and then we will be elated that we persevered.
