Present Prayer Concerns:

1. The theme of our prayers on the Saturday prayer call two weeks ago was around “harvest”. God was asking us to declare into the spirit realm what we see in the natural realm concerning the harvest. Pray for the harvest. Harvest means that workers are required. Join your prayers to the command of Jesus to pray for workers/labourers because the fields are white/ready.

2. Continue to pray for protection from the movement of public sectors toward euthanasia. This week Dr Jack Kevorkian was released from prison. The debate once again is placed in the public forum. Pray for the cessation of the neutralization of language in public institutions preparing the way for euthanization. Pray that our MPs and MPPs will stand firm against this evil that masquerades as compassion.

3. Prayer for righteousness and integrity at all levels of leadership …especially the spiritual. Canada has witnessed another ministry couple fall into the trap of the enemy. Pray for mercy in this time of judgment. God is shaking the spiritual trees of His kingdom. Pray that all leaders will repent and get their lives right before the Lord. The time is short!

4. Prayer for wisdom for the government as they seek ways to reform the Senate. This 140 year old institution will resist any changes. Pray for wisdom for our Prime Minister as he leads the government to cease pork-barrelling and favoritism in the Senate.

5. Pray that Christians will wake up and become involved in the warfare that is raging in the heavenlies over our nation.The theme of “waking up” was strong on the Saturday call. It was seen that many Christians have pushed the “snooze” button on their alarm clocks and God is saying to wake up NOW. Pray that Christians will begin to take prayer seriously and continue to STAND ON GUARD in righteousness and truth. Pray that Christians will act and vote with a Biblical mindset in their politics


6. Pray that the Holy Spirit will sweep across Canada with revival winds of repentance and renewal. Pray for Faytene Kryskow and her team as they go across Canada calling for our nation to fast and pray for a highway of Holiness to be established across our land. Consider praying and fasting in the period of May 29th to July 7th in preparation for a large gathering of Christians in Ottawa on July 7th.

7. Pray for the initiatives that the government is making toward the 800+ land claims that are outstanding in our country between the First Peoples and Canada. Pray for wisdom and justice as these claims are settled

8. Pray that the minority status of our government will not cause an impasse in passing bills that are much needed. Pray that MPs will vote for that which is best for our country, not for their own selfish agendas.

Thank you to every diligent prayer person who stands in the gap to intercede for Canada at this pivotal time in Canadian history. You are changing history in the eternal and historical realms through your prayers and intercessions, even though it seems like little progress is being made. One day each of us will see the difference we have made through prayer and then we will be elated that we persevered.
