ATTENTION:
Take note of Chuck Pierce word and then take a look at the many different "40 days of prayer and fasting" happening in Canada. It is evident that God is initiating prayer - He is preparing Canada to breakthrough into their destiny and the harvest! Watch where God is working - and join Him!
QUOTE: This will be a year when forces vie for momentum. God will be moving on us! Will we respond to Him? The enemy forces that we have not resisted will be moving with force to slow down a Kingdom that is advancing in the earth realm. We must bind the strongman's operation and gain access to the spoils. We must start moving as the people of God did when they left Egypt and keep moving until we reach the manifested Promise for this generation. We must not allow the voices of fear, unbelief and doubt to stop us from advancing. There will be three 40-day periods when we overthrow major strongholds that are holding treasures captive. PRAYER ITEMS:
1. Government:
Pray for Steven Harper: Serious false accusations against him (truth will set him free, release him from snare of the trapper, wisdom of Nehemiah) Walk in Godly confidence and not be misinterpreted for pride. Protect all leaders from pride.
Pray for our MPs- May integrity prevail- May the Christian MPs shine like stars in the night bringing honour to the Father.
Pray for the Military- for obedience and respect for authority. For protection ...for the gospel...for wisdom for our political leaders…for salvation and harvest!..for strength.
2. Legislation:
Praise God that Bill C-484 has passed its second reading after a dramatic vote in Parliament this week. Let's continue to pray that it will move through the committee stage and come back for a third reading before it goes to senate..
Praise God Bill C2 has also been past.
Pray for Bill C10- The Conservative government is attempting to take steps to stop this tax abuse through Bill C-10 which passed Parliament last November. The film industry is violently opposed to C10 saying it is "censorship". Yet it does not prevent any movie from production. CFAC was called barbarian at the Genie awards for asking that tax money cease being used for such un-cultural projects. CFAC has received dozens of hateful and disparaging emails. Because they dare call for responsible government use of tax dollars! The Senate had passed the Bill through first and second reading but now that the media is crying, they are now caving to the "arts" industry and threatening to stop or severely alter C10. Some of these films are sex films and should be stopped. This bill gives the Heritage Minister discretion to stop funding to such films. Pray that the Senate passes Bill C-10 on the third reading with no amendments.
Justice and righteousness will prevail in all our legislation!
Glenda Schwarz had vision of an Angle called Justice: intercession needed for justice and righteousness for all government leaders.
- Unity in the house of Commons - Lord release peace and integrity.
3. Pray for National Parlamount Prayer Breakfast: May 15
4. NHOP:
Rob & Fran Parker and Richard and Terry Long and all their leaders – Pray that the Lord will meet their needs…supply the finances…quick movement through the bureaucratic red tape…new leaders and staff to meet growing demands on the ministry.
- Pray for the teams that come (Glenda Schwartz co-leading a team this week)
5. Pray for Red Deer "Gernerations" conference April 9th -12th Regester call 877-343-2663Pray for many to responds and the God word be activated in everyone's hearts.Pray for all generation (young and old) taking their promise land together.
Pray for overcoming and peace.
6. "The Seige" in Montrial April 3-5 with Faytene Kryskow. Amazing breakthrough and a rallying up.

- Continued peace even after the Arbic summit.
11. Word given by Cindy Jacobs (Eight days of) Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow God will do a great work among you. Josh 3:5 We are going to new levels, old victories, areas where ewe have overcome in the last season will not cut it for this next level. We need to sanctify ourselves before we move on. If you will not, you will go to the next level but you will fall and you will take others with you. Reinforce the Basic, the basics of word, prayer, devotion - holiness reinforced. - Holiness - unity, alignment - carry the cross daily
- Reinforce the Basics, (prayer, word holiness) come back to plumpline of word - Isa 58

You are changing history in the eternal and historical realms through your prayers and intercessions, even though it seems like little progress is being made. One day each of us will see the difference we have made through prayer and then we will be elated that we persevered.

4MYCANADA ACTION UPDATE
CLEANING UP MORAL FILTH IN CANADA'S FILM INDUSTRY: C-10
| | ||||
| Telefilm Canada (an arm of Heritage Ministry) gives nearly a billion dollars in tax credits and subsidies to the arts industry annually. Recently it has come into the light that some of the films receiving subsidy benefits are ones that glorify indecent s-xual behavior between teens and even between humans and dead bodies. Like us, we are certain you are disturbed by what you just read. The good news is that we can do something about this, right now. | | |||
| | | | | |
The government of Canada has brought forth a piece of legislation, Bill C-10, that if it is passed will set up a screening process in Canada to make sure quality films, both in content and technique will be the ones receiving subsidy help, not trash films. THIS is great legislation.
WHERE THIS BILL IS AT - GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS:
The good news is that C-10 passed through the House of Commons recently. The bad news is that it was on track to receive Royal Assent swiftly until a couple weeks ago when some in the film industry began kicking up a fuss calling the legislation an invasion on 'human rights.' Currently it is being stalled in the senate because of some of the controversy and recent resistance to it from the film industry.
If you have a passion to see the media cleaned up morally, supporting this bill would be a great way to start. We encourage you to take a few minutes to let our Senators know that you want them to support C-10 and that you disagree with those in the film industry that are opposing it.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
#1 E-mail the Senate committee members and ask them to pass this bill:

CONTINUING TO WORK AT SEEING C-484 (Unborn Victims of Crime Bill) PASSED!
_________________________________________________________
As you know, C-484 (Ken Epp's Unborn Victims of Crime Bill) passed the 2nd reading vote on March 5th. You can still watch the vote on our home page (video) at www.4mycanada.ca.
Though we are excited and thankful that the bill has made it past 2nd reading and into committee, our greatest fight to see this bill passed is likely still in front of us. Below you see pictures of 11 MPs. These MPs are currently the ones on the Justice Committee and they will be the ones who will be reviewing the bill and (hopefully) sending it back to the House of Commons.
Of these 11 MPs on the committee 6 voted AGAINST the bill and 5 voted for it. One of the strongest opponents of C-484 in the 2nd reading was Carol Freeman. Unless swayed otherwise, it is likely that Mrs. Freeman and the others who voted against C-484 will work to amend (dilute) the bill or stall it to the point that it dies in committee. We have faith that this will not happen. But, faith without works is dead - so we are going to work to do all we can to make sure C-484 gets out of committee in it's intended form and that is passes it's 3rd reading which will happen speedily after it comes out of committee.
WHAT WE NEED TO DO RIGHT NOW TO SUPPORT C-484:
The strategic action steps to help support C-484 right now are as follows:
- Contact the MPs below (see instructions beside their pictures)
- Pray that MPs opposing the bill would be swayed to support it.
- Pray that MPs supporting the bill would stand strong, have stamina and convincing arguments.
- Write letters to your local paper in favour of C-484.
- Call in on radio shows and express support for C-484.
- Continue contacting your MPs and all other MPs in anticipation of the third reading (ask them to support it at 3rd reading vote).
- Get the word out in your network.
We are currently designing post cards that you will be able to download, print and send to them as well. We are told that this is one of the most effective ways of communicating so stay tuned for these. We encourage you to do this along with e-mailing the committee members.

The United Nations – Working for you?

| NO. 37 | March 25, 2008 |
The eReview provides analysis on public policy relating to Canadian families and marriage. Below please find
a report on the recent United Nations Commission on the Status of Women meetings in New York.

| The United Nations – Working for you?
During the week of March 3 – 7, I had the opportunity to participate as a Non-Government Organization (NGO) representative in the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW). The UNCSW meeting took place in Having never attended a UN meeting before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. After being there for a week, I couldn’t help but agree with a friend, who described the UN as a place where 192 countries bring their worst administrative and bureaucratic processes together in order to—make them even worse. Start with something as simple as registering and the mess becomes evident. Registration documents are faxed in – there is no online submission. In order to be issued my security pass, the original documents are faxed to a UN office; I then had to carry a copy of the same documents to the The majority of UNCSW meetings and delegate sessions were closed to NGOs and the public, thus keeping in secret what was being discussed and negotiated. Only final documents are available on the website of the UN Commission on the Status of Women, [2]however, the deliberations were not available, nor are the votes for or against the motions noted. Such a practice would be and is seen as completely undemocratic here in On many days, the only updates Canadian NGOs received were during a 15 minute session lead by the Canadian delegates – representatives from And our tax dollars really are being spent at the UN. Not only are our tax dollars spent, but there also appear to be disagreements between UNCSW final statements and Canadian foreign policy. For instance, the Agreed Conclusions and Resolutions contained a statement regarding assistance to Palestinian women and referred to the “illegal Israeli practices, including settlement activities and the unlawful construction of the wall in the However, the meetings were not all doom and gloom. There are many Canadian and international NGOs present to represent strong family values. There were several parallel events, hosted by other groups. Some of these sessions presented new medical research, for example “Pregnancy Associated Homicide” and “Women Bear the Cost: Women’s Mental Health after Pregnancy Loss.” [10] The research information available at these sessions was exemplary. It is imperative that Send us your feedback on this issue at: info@imfcanada.org.
